Johnny Owens

& The Buck Fever Band

BIOGRAPHY

Growing up Buck Owens’ son, Johnny was surrounded by the best of the best, musically. Once his father passed, Johnny felt it was important to keep his dad’s legacy in country music alive. The members of the Buck Fever Band have the same passion and reverence as Johnny does for traditional country music.

Johnny Owens and the Buck Fever Band’s country music passion is showing. In fact, the band is already wildly popular. Johnny’s on-stage stories about growing-up an Owens, his perfection performing his dad’s songs, and the sweet sounds of pedal steel guitar and fiddle, mixed with guitar twang, have proven to be a winning combination.

According to Robert E. Price, writer of The Bakersfield Sound, “history of the hard-edged style that transformed country music,” and for The Bakersfield Californian, Johnny Owens . . . [and] “his Buck Fever Band are as close in tone and appearance to his Buckness as any that walk the earth today.”

Currently, Johnny Owens and the Buck Fever Band plays throughout the year at the world famous Buck Owens Crystal Palace and is available for public and private events. Feel free to write a message through the contact link and thanks for stopping by!
